Over the last decade, Leslie Hittmeier has come to find her place in the mountains, camera in hand. She works with both stills and motion alongside some of the world’s best adventure sports athletes. She’s documented skiers and snowboarders on consequential lines in the Tetons, powder pillows in Japan, steep couloirs in Chamonix and most notably a first descent in Alaska’s Fairweather range.  

Leslie is drawn to the human side of these experiences. Her work looks beyond the action to bring focus on the people who immerse themselves in adventure. It’s within these moments that the gear and clothing they rely on become part of the story. At home in the outdoors, she brings a documentary approach to brand photography, capturing the deeper story within the people and brands she works with.
